The Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by the CBSE ( Central Board of Secondary Examination) for admission sin the top colleges like IIT’s and NIT’s. The exam was introduced as a replacement of AIEEE and IIT-JEE examintaions and is a dream for every aspirant to crack this exam as it ensures the admissions in top colleges across the country. The examination is carried in two stages, which are explained below:
The JEE-Mains examination is the gateway to the top colleges across the country like the NIT’s, IIIT’s and other top colleges acrosss the country. Although for getting admission in the IIt’s, you have to cross one more step i,e. you have to give JEE-Advanced Examination for getting Admission in IIT’s.
The JEE-examination is conducted in both online and off-line mode. The exam contains two papers and the aspirants can opt for either or both the papers:
- Paper-1 is for B.E/ B.Tech Admissions and is conducted in both online and offline mode..
- Paper-2 is for B.Arch and B.Planning which is conducted in offline mode only.
Date of JEE-Mains Examinations in 2016: In 2016, the online examination will be on 3 April.
The JEE-Advanced examination is conducted for admissions in the IIT’s that are considered as the most esteemed institutes in the country. For participating in the JEE-Advanced examination, you must clear the JEE-Mains exam first.
